I completed my Airline and Airport Management degree in 2024 through a collaborative programme delivered in Malaysia in partnership with Buckinghamshire New University. The programme provided exposure to UK academic standards while studying locally. I am currently working at Bestinet Sdn Bhd, where my role focuses on data quality and foreign document verification, involving compliance checks and accuracy in handling international documentation.
What are your memories of being a student at BNU?
As a student on a collaborative programme with BNU, my experience was focused on academic discipline, independent learning, and meeting UK education standards. The structure of the programme helped me develop self-management skills and adapt to internationally recognised academic expectations.
What advice could you give to recent graduates who want to get ahead?
Stay open-minded and focus on building experience, even if the role is not your ideal job at the start. Consistency, willingness to learn, and professionalism are key to long-term career growth.

My goal is to build a career in the international aviation or aviation-related sector, with a focus on operations, compliance, or support roles, and to gain work experience abroad.

Be prepared to adapt and continuously learn. Develop strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and industry awareness, as these are highly valued in aviation and related sectors.
